So what is this myWCMail anyway?

We are happy to offer to you a new email product here at Warehouse. We call it "myWCMail." So just what is this myWCMail anyway you ask? To break it down all it is is a skinned version of Gmail. However we get to keep our domain name, wcchurch.net. Again, you ask, "What does this mean?" We get to have email addresses like joe@wcchurch.net or jane@wcchurch.net instead of wowlongname236@gmail.com or billfromvancouver98606@gmail.com.

You can either use it on the web, or set it up in a POP3 mail client, such as Outlook, Thunderbird, or Mac Mail. You can either log in from our web site, (home page, or this page) or easily go to mywcmail.com anytime and login.

Below is a short description of Gmail from the google.com web site. But remember this is not only Gmail, it is myWCMail!

Gmail is Google's free webmail service. It comes with built-in Google search technology and over 2,600 megabytes of storage (and growing every day). You can keep all your important messages, files and pictures forever, use search to quickly and easily find anything you're looking for, and make sense of it all with a new way of viewing messages as part of conversations.

There are no pop-ups or untargeted banner ads in Gmail, only small text ads. Ads and related information are relevant to your messages, so instead of being obtrusive, they may even be useful for once.

Gmail also integrates instant messaging right into the email experience, so you can stay in even better touch with your friends when you're online. Easy, efficient and maybe even fun to use. It's a whole new way to think about email. It's Google's approach to email.

Read this in it's entirety at Google's web site. There is also a great short video to watch.

So, you are now asking yourself, "Am I eligible to get a myWCMail account? And if so, how do I get one?" As long as you call Warehouse Church your "home" church, then we would love for you to have a myWCMail account. All you have to do is either

ask one of the elders at church, or Bryan, Warehouses' web servant.

If you would like to ask Bryan a question
please send him an email here.
