1. Myth #1: _______________________________!

1Peter 3:18For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.

2. Myth #2: _______________________________!

1Corinthians 15: 3For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures…NIV

(Luke 2:8-18; Matthew 2:11)

3. Myth #3: _______________________________!

Jeremiah 10:1 Hear what the LORD says to you, O house of Israel. 2This is what the LORD says: “Do not learn the ways of the nations or be terrified by signs in the sky, though the nations are terrified by them. 3For the customs of the peoples are worthless; they cut a tree out of the forest, and a craftsman shapes it with his chisel. 4They adorn it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so it will not totter. 5Like a scarecrow in a melon patch, their idols cannot speak; they must be carried because they cannot walk. NIV

(Isaiah 44:13-18; Romans 14:1-3, 5, 13,19-21)

4. Myth #4: _______________________________!

Luke 2: 6While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. NIV

(Luke 2:11)

Isaiah 9: 1Nevertheless the gloom will not be upon her who is distressed. As when at first He lightly esteemed the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward more heavily oppressed her, by the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, in Galilee of the Gentiles. 2 The people who walked in darkness Have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined…6For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. NKJV
